NIKE Tour IberCup Cascais, Portugal
April 13-17, 2022

IberCup is currently one of the most important World Youth Soccer Tournaments in the world. Since the first edition, around 100 countries have been represented in the different IberCup tournaments. Every year, between boys and girls categories, around 50,000 players participate in a super competitive week with fantastic experiences and unique opportunity to face teams from all continents. IberCup creates the possibility of any interactions both outside and on the field and this makes IberCup recognized as one of the most international youth soccer competitions in the world.

The IberCup expects 200 teams including the best soccer academies in the world, such as FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid, Sevilla FC, Manchester City, Arsenal FC, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Paris St Germain, O. Lyon, Inter Milan, Juventus, Werder Bremen, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting CP, Gremio, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Flamengo, River Plate or Yokohama Marinos, who have participated in previous editions.

For the 6th year the IberCup Cascais will be organized. Cascais is a coastal town, 20 miles west of Lisbon. It is a cosmopolitan suburb of the Portuguese capital and one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The city is committed to make this tournament one of the top tournaments in the world. The proximity to the sea area allows everyone to enjoy the beautiful beaches all along the coast and with the city of Lisbon within half an hour from Cascais, teams have the opportunity to do some great sightseeing in Lisbon including the famous Benfica and Sporting Lisbon soccer stadiums.

Both Nike and Premier International Tours have created some special incentives for NIKE partner clubs in the USA:

  • A Nike incentive for all your players - to be decided by your Nike grassroots representative prior to your departure.

  • NIKE/Premier International Tours t-shirts for all travelers

  • A free trip for your coach, or a representative from your group, to Barcelona, Spain. This 5 day trip will take place between December of 2022 and the beginning of February, 2023. The incentive tour includes a visit to an FC Barcelona game, a visit to FC Barcelona’s training facilities to watch youth teams train and play, a tour of the Nou Camp, a session with youth coaches from Espanyol and sightseeing in Barcelona!

  • Each tour will include a special so called NIKE day with visits to NIKE partners and/or their facilities such as Chelsea, FC Barcelona, the KNVB and more.

"Thank you very much for hosting us for a great ten days in Portugal. The coaches and the players definitely learned a lot, and hopefully the coaches can incorporate some of the lessons they learned into plans for future training. We played with our 2008 and 2007 teams vs. international top teams like Belenses, Vitoria Guimaraes, Olympique Lyonnais, FC Barcelona, Getafe, Benfica, Atletico Madrid and PAOK and ended up with 12 wins, 2 ties and 1 loss."
